Several short films during the film festival Braunschweig Filmt Architekturpavillon (Burgplatz) Braunschweig, Germany 2026

The emerging short film festival Braunschweig Filmt (BS Filmt) hosted a city-wide open call for creators of all levels to submit films telling their story, presenting favorite locations and other moments and spots of personal interest. More than 60 films from various creators have been submitted and shown during the event. As part of the film screening (group exhibition) for Braunschweig Filmt, I presented the short films 'Night Eye', 'Für Lena' (starring Lena Gudi) and 'Objects in the Review Mirror may appear closer than they are' (starring Yeva Sim). Stills of the 3 short films are shown below. The presentation took place at the purpose-built 'Architekturpavillon' open-air theatre stage at the Burgplatz in Braunschweig.
Braunschweig Filmt was organized and curated by Søren Berg and Juan Penalver Madrid as well as several members of the Braunschweig city planning team. In my role as Art Director I produced advertisement content, supported emerging creators through audio- and video collaborations and aided the BSFilmt team through the utilization of the submitted material. 

Screening: Saturday 04.07. and Sunday 05.07. 15:00-23:00

Special thanks to the 'Braunschweig City of Lions' event planning team, the European Union (co-funding), Sonolux Event-Management, 'Resiliente Innenstädte' and 'Kulturkompass' for funding and organization support, as well as Lena Gudi (starred in the 'Für Lena' short film) and the team of the Laut Club for live DJ-music.
